Today on "The Talk" Julie Chen revealed the biggest twist in Big Brother HISTORY!

Juile said, "This year not one but two houseguest will win HOH every week. Each HOH will have the responsibility of nominating two houseguest for eviction. So that means, every week, a total of 4 houseguest will be on the chopping block.. However, for the first time on Big Brother, just because you're the HOH doesn't mean you're safe."

"That's because a brand new competition will be played called 'battle of the block'.. & one more thing, you the fans are going to be influencing the game in a new interactive twist called 'team America'." Then she said when it premieres,"this, I promise you, will be the most twisted season of big brother yet...."

[VIDEO] Check out the Announcement:

So the break down!
  • 2 HOH's,
  • 4 nominees
  • New "Battle of the Block" competition.
  • No HOH is safe!!!
  • Team America helping influence the game
Thanks to my friend @saints_nation23 for the word by word write up :)

First Impressions of the Big Brother 16 Houseguests

Another summer brings on another season of Big Brother, with another season of Big Brother comes all new houseguests.

I like this group of hamsters houseguests. They have to be one of the most interesting and diverse casts in awhile. However, that being said. They're all kinda bland.

I sat down and watched all most of the press day interview videos and then wrote down my first impressions and opinions of each of them. I also invited my new writer, Nick, to give his opinion of the houseguest also.

Here they are....

Amber Borzotra | 26 | Esthetician
John's First Impression: She is super bubbly and funny. She wants to have a all girls alliance (maybe she should talk to Jocasta or Paola). She's not a standout personality to me. I have neutral feeling about her. If I have no feelings about her, I doubt the houseguests will either. I can't see her even making it to Jury.

Nick's First Impression: She seems like a whole some person, who likes to have a good time. She very down to earth but she said she likes to pull little pranks…. I hope we see some of them. Amber talks game, to me she wants to play a neutral game, hold back a little bit win here and there when she needs to, but she will be undermining other people in the house.

Brittany Martinez | 29|  Event Coordinator
John's First Impression: As I was watching her videos, I thought to myself, "What is she doing here?" She seems eager but I just don't think she belongs. I get the feeling that she's looking more for a vacation then anything. I can also see her pulling the BB9 Shelia card a lot this season, "I'm a single mom!"

Nick's First Impression: Our lovely mother of 3 kids. She seems like a sweetheart but something tells me she’s a party girl. She is trying to win the money to help her family which is always sweet. I want to see how she breaks out of her shell.

Caleb Reynolds | 26 |Adventure Hunting Guide
John's First Impression: This year we got ourselves a Cowboy! Caleb is very reserved, kinda awkward. Wants to mirror BB12 winner Hayden's game. A little cocky, saying he could win every HOH, but won't. I like him and think he will be a very underestimated player and will win comps a lot.

Nick's First Impression: Our ghetto country Western Stud? Lol….. Right now I think he has a good game strategy figured out, but let’s see if he applies it to the actual game.

Christine Brecht | 23 | Barista
John's First Impression: Christine is very bubbly and very like-able. She is a Superfan and seems very excited to be there. Doesn't want to float through the game, and I hope she stays true to that. She is very religious, which shocked me, but said it won't affect her game (THANK GOD). Only 23 but yet acts so mature. She reminds me of a female Dan. I love her and I will be rooting for her all summer, guaranteed.

Nick's First Impression: I love her! I love how she’s so diverse but still keep to her faith. Very bubbly (A.K.A her nickname) She seems like a good vibe for the house.

Cody Calafiore | 23 | Sales Account Executive
John's First Impression: This season's eye candy. For sure, he will win over the hearts of many women (and some men). Aside from that, he also seems like a huge competition threat. I look forward to seeing how he plays.

Nick's First Impression: Very mature and down to earth…. Let’s see how that goes in the house. Seem like a real stand up guy to me and has his eye on the prize but a beautiful girl looks like she can get in the way of it… We may have another Jeff on our hands!

Derrick Levasseur | 30 | Police Officer - Sergeant
John's First Impression:  I began watching his videos and he seemed rather boring. He doesn't plan on telling the house he is a officer. I don't know why because I turned off the video. Maybe one day I'll go back and watch it and update this...Probably not. However, with that, I don't expect him to go far. I can see him just floating through the house.

Nick's First Impression: He’s a cop so I suggest houseguest behave themselves because he knows the laws! Derrick actually looks like he’s a lot of fun and judging by his police back=ground he may get far in the game. He seems like a very well rounded guy who may want to let loose.

Devin Shepherd | 26 | Former Professional Baseball Player
John's First Impression: Wow, a previous professional baseball player. Hopefully that means he will be a competition beast. We may finally have a black contestant who tries in competitions. We had Howard last season but he couldn't win a comp to save his life. I have high hopes for Devin.

Nick's First Impression: The single daddy of the house…. Oh yeah and an ex MLB baseball player! He most defiantly wears his heart on his sleeve, but seems like a real stand up dude.

Donny Thompson | 42 | School Groundskeeper
John's First Impression: Right off the bat her reminds me of someone for Duck Dynasty. However, watching his videos he is a soft spoken man who could be a great game player. I don't think he will win per say but I do think he will be a good player and will make it to jury (I hope!).

Nick's First Impression: The redneck of the house, but don’t let him fool you because he’s smarter than he seems. This may work out for him, but some people may see right through him. If he plays his cards right by doling his acting stupid routine then he may just fly under the radar.

Frankie Grande | 31 | Ariana Grande's Brother | YouTube Personality
John's First Impression: Frankie, the Grande (big) problem this season. Here are my thoughts on Frankie...Had it been a season where America had NO hand in anything, I would love him and most likely root for him. However given the fact that his sister, Ariana Grande, has 16 million Twitter followers you might as well give him ever America vote from her on up til even the "America's Favorite Houseguest" poll. I understand Big Brother is a unfair game but there is a difference between being unfair and swaying the outcome. Now, all that aside. I love the guy and he is hilarious. I want to root for him this season but with such a unfair advantage for him, I don't think I can or will...which is unfortunate.

Nick's First Impression: I’ve seen his YouTube videos before and he’s very open and don’t care what people think. He’s very out spoken and highly energized, but will he go in to the house like this or will he play it cool. My honest opinion is that WHO CARES THAT HE’S ARIANA GRANDE BROTHER, His name is Frankie he is his own person….  If he’s to loud and annoying for people he will get the boot very soon, But if he plays his cards right like he said he can…… he will be around a while.

Hayden Voss | 21 | Pedicab Driver
John's First Impression: Do we have a BB15 David 2.0? Seems kinda out there and crazy. Funny guy. Seems nice. I pick him to get the boot first though.

Nick's First Impression: I did judge Hayden when I first saw his picture. I didn’t like him at all, but when I watched his video my opinion changed. “Don’t judge a book by its cover” they always say! He works really hard for a living and just to get by. Even though he struggles he is always in AWESOME mood.

Jocasta Odom | 33 | Minister
John's First Impression: When I started watched her WeLoveBigBrother.com interview, I thought wow, I really like her! She seems smart and intelligent about the game. Reminds me a lot of BB8 Jamika. Very religious. Then she kinda took a turn and her interview went all over the place. She is kinda crazy! If her interview is any indication to how she will play the game then....YIKES!

Nick's First Impression: Very Very Very SMART… But that just might get her in trouble. She seems very honest, big personality, and a people person. I think people will like her in the house, but when the game gets started I see her being attacked. She better play her cards right. If she holds true to herself I think she will be a great player to watch. I hope she holds true to who she is because I like her. I really need to see how she adapts in the house.

Joey Van Pelt | 27 | Makeup Artist / Hairstylist
John's First Impression: LOVE HER! Hilarious. She's not to knowledgeable about the game but I think I am going to really like her. I don't think she will win, but I will be rooting for her.

Nick's First Impression: I’m excited for Joey she’s going to bring sarcasm and charisma to the house. She’s very down to earth and wholesome. I think she’s going to be a lot of fun this summer and I can’t wait to see her unfold. I think she will go very far because of her personality.

Nicole Franzel | 21 | Recent Nursing Graduate
John's First Impression: This small town girl is in for a shock. She seems very nervous and overwhelmed. She is a Superfan and if she breaks out of her shell, she can do great in the game. Once she comes into her own, I will root for her, until then I think she will float through the game.

Nick's First Impression: Very prude but once she lets her hair down I think she will be some fun. In my book the quiet and prude ones are always the closet case freaks. So I hope she lets her hair down and if she doesn’t I see her laying low under the radar.

Paola Shea | 27 | DJ
John's First Impression: This girl is fierce! She is not afraid to speak her mind, reminds me of BB11 Chima (Lets hope she doesn't act like Chima). She is outgoing and funny and maybe a little bit of a hot head. She wants to have All Girl Alliance (maybe she should talk to Amber or Jocasta). I really liked this girl...until I read her CBS Profile. CBS asked, "What would you do if “Big Brother” made you famous?" Her response, "I hope that I would gain more social media followers.".....Okay, now I hope you get out week 1. There are people that would DIE to play this game, and you want to play so that you can get more followers of Instagram Likes? Really?! Get out, this is Big Brother!

Nick's First Impression: Our house DJ but without the music. She’s going to be a huge personality this season and I see girls hating her already. Very out spoken and seem like a lot a lot of fun. I want to see how long it takes for girls to talk about her.

Victoria Rafaeli | 22 | Photographer
John's First Impression: I get the same feeling from her as I got from Brittany, What is she doing her? She doesn't seem to really know what's going on. I don't see her lasting very long.

Nick's First Impression: She has a good head on her shoulders, seems funny, and very opinionated. She’s going to be that girl to argue things, but not be rude about it. I think she can be a great game player “street smarts is key”

Zach Rance | 23 | Recent College Graduate - Economics
John's First Impression: He is a douche bag. Arrogant, cocky, S.O.B, but I have mixed feelings about him game wise. He could either be a genius and will run the house OR he will be the first to go.

Nick's First Impression: Very arrogant but he has his eye on the prize. He won’t be a boring one to watch but he’s not very like-able. Maybe that will change in time.

John's Top Three Players: Joey, Christine, and Caleb.     John's Pick to Win: Christine
Nick's Top Three Players: Cody, Derrick, and Joey.       Nick's Pick to Win: Derrick

John's Bottom Three Players: Jocasta, Hayden, and Derrick.     John's Pick for First Out: Hayden
Nick's Bottom Three Players: Jocasta, Paola, and Zach.            Nick's Pick for First First Out: Zach

There is Nick and I's opinion/first impressions. I hope some of them prove me wrong ;)

The brand new season of Big Brother 16 starts on Wednesday, but controversy has already begun. Cleb Reynolds has an Interesting Instagram account mainly full of selfies from the gym, but Twitter user @mcoop found something that has fans in quite the uproar.

Caleb calls Obama a "Muslim Monkey" and uses the derogatory term for a gay person.

Is this Big Brother 15 part 2 or are fans just sensitive? Should we wait until we see even 1 episode or 2 minutes of the live feeds?

Did You Catch That?! - Pre-Season

Welcome to our first 'Did You Catch That?!' article! Each week we will post a DYCT article that will recap everything that has happened that week. It will be your on stop reference for the week. It will contain spoilers, alliance updates, and much more. Pretty much it will be, "The Week In Review: A Big Brother Reference for You".

The Twist
Julie Chen announced on The Talk the BIG twist for this season. She announced that this season there will be 2 HOH's! Both HOH's will nominate 2 houseguests for eviction, meaning a total of 4 houseguests nominated for eviction. However, Julie teased that, "For the first time on Big Brother, just because you're the HOH doesn't mean you're safe."

A new competition will also be played called 'Battle of the Block'. Now we don't know to much about this new 'Battle of the Block' comp. However, this morning, Hollywood Reporter posted an exclusive interview with executive producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan. In that interview, Allison spilled some details about the comp.
"In this case, they're two HOHs and each one will be nominating two people for eviction — a total of four — and they're operating independently. They are ultimately going head to head in this competition with Battle of the Block, where one is going to end up in power and one is going to end up not in power," said Grodner.
Julie also announced that america would have a hand in the game again this season. This time in a "new interactive way, like never before." Julie says, "You the fans are going to be influencing the game in a new interactive twist called 'Team America'."

Team America already had their first vote. We got to pick a houseguest based on this question, "If you had to form an alliance with one of the Houseguests, who would you select?" We were also remind to choose wisely, because our vote will impact the game. We will have to wait until the premiere to see how.

The Houseguests
The Cast
On Thursday, CBS announced the cast. This cast is very diverse but kinda bland. You can read my first impressions on the cast. Also, check out our 'Houseguests' tab! The page is full of information about the houseguests with links to their pre-season interviews.

The House
Have you seen the new digs this season? The theme is "Urban Treehouse". Check out the house pictures.

Watch the House Tour with Julie Chen:

The Rumors
We aren't quite sure how the twist will work with this new "Battle of the Block" competition. There have been talks of teams (8 on each team). It could be Men vs. Women? 1 man and 1 women win HOH? Also rumored is the 'Team America' vote determined who is on what team. Does this new comp means no more POV? We will have to wait and tune-in on premiere night JUNE 25th when Chen-bot will spill all the details and answer all our questions.

How do you think the twist will impact the game? Leave us your thoughts in the comments!

Sneak Peak at the First HOH Competition [VIDEO]

Today, on this Big Brother's Eve, CBS give us a SNEAK PEAK of the first HOH competition.

[VIDEO] VIEW THE SNEAK PEAK:

It appears as if only 8 people got to play in the first HOH. We can assume that is because the house is split in teams (hence the 2-Night Move-In).

Team 1 - Devin, Donny, Amber, Paola, Frankie, Joey, Nicole, Cody.
Team 2 - Zack, Jocasta, Caleb, Christine, Brittney, Victoria, Derrick, & Hayden.

We don't know yet how the teams were split or why but I assume that "America's Vote" determined the order.

Which "team" will you be rooting for? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Bmcooney's Weekly Houseguest Beatdown - Week One

$
0
0

Hey! I'm Bmcooney, and this is my new weekly guest article here on The Big Brother Insider, fuck yeah! (Team AMERICAAA). Basically every week I'm going to give you a run down of each Houseguest currently left in the game, and rank them on a completely random, but (in)appropriate scale out of 10. I'll let you know how I think each one is playing, and what their odds of winning are. Let's begin, shall we?

Amber: She wasn't awful in the HoH comp, outlasted a few people. She was smart enough to know that winning HoH could be dangerous. She is a founding member of the All Girls alliance (which was all the rave in the pre-season interviews), but why the FUCK is it called El Quatro? It's a female alliance. Elle Quatro makes WAY more sense. UGH, Stupid. And like it's not a total rip-off of THE Quatro from BBCAN season 1? Lame.

Rating: 5  Disappointing Donut Bathing Suits out of 10

Brittany: She's the Mom, but I no longer think she's gonna play the Mom role in the game. I would really like to see her be a part of this girls alliance, but also a solid side alliance with Derrick. She seems really nice, and she could rock an endurance competition. Not the smartest HG, but she could do okay if she plays her cards right.

Rating: 6.5 Faked Labours to get out of Speeding Tickets out of 10

Caleb: He has no idea how BB works, he comes off as abrasive, threatening, unfriendly, and he's playing far too hard, too fast. If his team wins this Battle of the Block, I can see him being a replacement nominee and leaving.

Rating:3.5 Obvious Objects To Use As A Rating System For Caleb out of 10

Christine: She's apparently a nudist. That's interesting. She's a nerd girl, superfan of the show, appreciative of her chance to play the game, smart, and willing to do whatever it takes to win. Easy pick to win or at least make final 5.

Rating:9 Nerdy, Clothing Optional Stars out of 10

Cody: He's apparently just eye-candy for Paola & Frankie. The internet is pretty convinced he's gay. Either way he has a solid showmance, and showmance name. Hook up with Paola and we can call them Caola (Cowla). Hook up w/ Frankie and we can call them Crankie. Both are fun. Otherwise, he hasn't been all that interesting. He has potential to be a comp beast, and make jury though. Only reason he has fans is because people want his D. He brings nothing decent to the table. He's a bore. (not THAT kind of boar, Caleb!)

Rating: 6 Inappropriate Scissor-Poses out of 10

Derrick: He worked as an undercover cop. Has masqueraded as a drug dealer to bust criminals. He's in this to win money for his family which is gonna be a huge driving force for him in the game. He seems smart, and I can't wait to see what he brings to the game.

Rating:9 J-Walking Tickets out of 10

Devin: Devin is being sought after by Amber, but she's not his type. He's super into Joey, which seems like a weird pairing, but all the power to him. It's a shame he can't hook up with Amber though. We could dub them DAYUMber. Lost opportunity. He did really poorly in the HoH comp, but that's because he's a fucking rhino tank. He could go REALLY early just because he's so huge and threatening. Creating an unsuspecting alliance with Donny, a superfan, could prove smart though. Like the way Jon used Neda.

Rating:6 Drooling Cat Ladies on Twitter out of a solid 10

Donny: What isn't to love about Donny? He's likeable, not much of a threat, perfect person to take to final 3, or final 2. He's goofy, hilarious, and a superfan of the show. Do I think he'll win? No, but I really don't see anyone disliking him enough to nominate him any time soon. He's got a good run ahead of him.

Rating: 8 Charming Janitorial Mop Buckets out of 10

Frankie: First of all, we should get used to Frankie. We could be controlling him in this Team America (FUCK YEAH!) twist for quite a while. His DRs have been entertaining, he won the first HoH comp, so we know he has potential. I don't think he can win, but I DO think he'll at least make it to early Jury. Don't hate on him too much yet, let's see what he can do. I don't care if his sister is famous, as long as his fans buy live feeds from me.

Rating:7 OMG ILY < 3 FRANKIE Tween Ass Bitches out of 10

Hayden: He seems a LOT different from what I expected. He's not stupid, he has what it takes to win competitions, and he's actually very entertaining. I can DEFINITELY see him making Jury at least.

Rating:8 Fancy Flower Hats out of 10

Jocasta: LAAAARD JESUS THANK YOU! We have a Jameka with a sense of humor. She seems like she's a lot of fun, but this is not the right place for a minister. She's gonna have a REALLY hard time. This is not a place for people who have morals.

Rating:4 Colourful Bowties out of 10

Joey: Dat hair doe. Seriously. Her DRs so far have been "meh". She didn't do well in the comp, she's in the all girls alliance (which I don't have any faith in), she seems like she's probably gonna cry a lot, and she's not likely to do much. I know a lot of people love her, and I'm sure she's an awesome person, I just don't think she has it in her. Pre-Jury. Team America could really screw with her game.

Rating:4 Gifs of Homer Simpson Accidentally Mistaking Her Hair For A Hedge out of 10

Nicole: She's adorable. A lot of people hate her voice, I did at first too, but I think it suits her. She's a fan of the game, I can see her making some solid alliances, and I know she'll appreciate the experience no matter how long she's in the house. She won't win, but she'll be of some entertainment.

Rating: 6 "Team Ian" T-shirts of 10

Paola: This chick is gonna cause SO MUCH SHIT. I can't wait. She was bashing HGs before she was even cast on the show. She has a giant bag of fucks, and it's always been empty. She named the "El Quatro" Girls Alliance however, so she loses points for missing out on a lovely pun. She's either gonna piss people off and go in the first couple weeks, or make final 5. I guess we shall see. Good feeds though. ( And we all know she's found a jack shack already where she can play "DJ" with herself and dream of Cody)

Rating: 7.5 Raging Lady Boners out of 10

Victoria: Please. You're the hottest girl in the house? You sound like Jessie, and you look like a dumb ass. She doesn't have a whole lot going on for this game. She won't make it to jury. Not unless Frankie drags her there. Sorry, but the princess is in another castle.

Rating:2  Frequently Kidnapped Princesses Out of 10

Zach: Everyone thought he was gonna be this smooth-talking, manipulative mastermind, I never saw it, I didn't get it, and I was right. Not even a few hours into the game and he can't keep his fucking mouth shut. Good luck in the Battle of the Block this week. You're out of there pre-jury either way. Way to go, slick.

Rating:3.5 False Fan Hopes out of 10

Did You Catch That?! - Week 1

$

Welcome to our second 'Did You Catch That!?' article capturing the action from Week 1 in the Big Brother House. I'll be covering everything that's happened since Wednesday night when the first batch of house guests moved in, as well as the live feed action and the three episodes that have aired so far.

Move-In Night #1 (Wednesday)

Our first 8 House Guests moved in on Wednesday night and got a huge jump start to the game over our next 8 House Guests. You would think that would have given them a slight advantage but 4 of the 8 original house guests ended up on the block at one point or another; we'll get to that later.

The first half-hour of the show brought an unprecedented number of alliances. THREE "official" alliances were formed well before Donny memorized everyone's name.  In a genius move, all 8 of them joined an alliance called "The Crazy 8's" followed by "The Double D's" formed by Devin and Donny, and of course "El Cuatro" by Pao Pao, Amber, Nicole and Joey.

Julie filled the first 8 House Guests in on the first part of the twist being that you are not safe from eviction if you win HOH. Our first HOH of the season was won by Frankie in the "Go Fly a Kite" competition. We also witnessed one of the worst competition throws of all-time by Amber.

After the HOH competition, Julie told the HG's that a 2nd group of HG's would be entering the house, and that one of them will also become HOH. They also learned that at the end of the week only 1 HOH will be left standing. This was it for Wednesday as the Live Feeds didn't start until after Thursday night's show.

Move-In Night #2 (Thursday)

Day 2 began with Julie telling the next group of 8 HG's that the game had already started and that 8 HG's have already moved in. She also got them up to speed on the new HOH rules.

Frankie and Victoria quickly formed an alliance that didn't end up lasting more than a few days, which shouldn't surprise anyone. Nicole and Christine became close rather quickly both feeling like outsiders. Oh, and Jocasta formed an alliance with God, so we'll see how that goes.

The 2nd HOH competition of the year was won by Caleb as he put a beat down on everyone, while also putting a large target on his back as a competition beast.

All 16 HG's learned after the competition that each HOH would nominate 2 HG's for eviction each week. She also introduced the "Battle of the Block" competition that will take place each week. A 2x2 competition that will save the winning pair from eviction and dethrone the HOH who nominated them. The regular BB style will then take over with 1 HOH, 2 Nominees, a PoV competition and an eviction.

Team America Twist:

This new twist was introduced as an alliance picked by America to send 3 HG's on missions that will impact the game. We found out our first selection was Joey, who is most likely on her way out the door this week. The next selection will be revealed on Thursday during the first Live Eviction episode.

Live Feeds - Thursday Night

The Live Feeds started with a bang on Thursday Night as soon as they turned on with Hayden and Joey streaking around the house.

Nominations

We learned that Frankie nominated Victoria and Brittany while Caleb nominated Pao Pao and Donny. We also learned that Pao Pao and Donny lost the Battle of the Block competition by getting a glimpse of the Memory Walls when the feeds came on. Frankie's nominations of Victoria and Brittany won the Battle of the Block competition and are safe for the week while throwing Frankie back in the mix as a possible re-nom if either Donny or Pao Pao win the PoV. We won't see the actual nominations and Battle of the Block until it airs on Sunday Night's episode, which is included a bit further down.

Playing in the PoV will be HOH Caleb along with nominees Donny and Pao Pao, as well as Zach, Cody and Victoria. We won't see the PoV competition until Wednesday Night's episode airs.

Have-nots for Week 1 are Cody, Hayden, Brittany and Joey.

New Relationships

All the HG's are locked in on the first night as old alliances fall apart and new alliances are being formed. The original 4 Girls alliance "El Cuatro" is over as Nicole told the group about it. Meanwhile, Devin outs his own alliance "The Double D's" to Zach and Cody for some reason. In the biggest surprise so far, Zach and Frankie seem to be two of the closest people in the house.

As far as showmances go, it seems that Hayden has caught the attention of both Amber and Nicole. Caleb is completely obsessed with Amber and can't stop telling anyone that will listen. Amber and Caleb share a "first dance" and she has no idea what she's getting herself into with even that small of a gesture.

Devin and Caleb are starting to scare a few girls with their attitudes while Frankie becomes everyone's new best friend. Frankie's social game is scary good and he seems to adapt to every person and situation in the house. The two HOH winners, Caleb and Frankie, share a joint HOH room upstairs and have actually gotten along very well considering their backgrounds. The two of them have slept together almost every night since winning their competitions.

Live Feeds - Friday

The HG's wake up Friday morning excited and hoping for a PoV competition to take place. We see both Caleb and Frankie up in the HOH rooms but know that Caleb is the one with the power this week, as Frankie's nominations won the Battle of the Block.

Devin is starting to be seen as someone who is overplaying every aspect of the game thus far. He's started numerous alliances and has flip-flopped on who he wants evicted from his 'Double D' member Donny, to his initial crush, Joey.

We learned about the newest alliance called "The Bomb Squad" consisting of a whopping 8 people. We'll see the fomration of this alliance on the Sunday Night show, also included below. Devin thinks it's genius and that it's never been done, while the rest of his alliance is probably re-thinking ever deciding to work with him. The original Bomb Squad was Frankie, Caleb, Devin, Derrick, Zach and Cody. Devin, without consulting a single member of his alliance, decides to tell Amber and Christine everything about their alliance and invites them in.

Now the Bomb Squad officially consists of 8 people and is as doomed as the Crazy 8's. Caleb, Frankie and Devin form somewhat of a Final 3 deal within their own alliance and designate Amber and Christine as the 1st to go if needed. As I mentioned earlier, Frankie and Zach have gotten extremely close and seem to be the most aligned duo in the house so far. Frankie works his social skills while Zach....well, he sleeps...a lot.

PoV Spoiler

Around noon Big Brother time, Jocasta get's called into the DR to start the PoV competition that she's hosting. Donny and Pao Pao are on the block and Joey is rumored as a replacement nominee if needed.

The feeds came back on after a few hours and we learned that Donny won the PoV and can save himself from the block.

A happy Donny after a PoV victory

Through conversation, we learned that it was a spelling competition which involved the HG's searching for letters to try and spell the longest word possible. Donny won with the word "splitters" which doesn't seem all that impressive. Frankie and Caleb were later laughing at Pao Pao's attempt at spelling "calculator".

It seems that both Hayden and Devin are being rumored as re-noms with Joey still in the picture as well.

Live Feeds - Friday Night/Saturday Morning

Big Brother opened up the backyard late Friday night after the PoV competition was cleaned up to the delight of all HG's.

We're starting to see a full on bromance between Frankie and Zach. Zach might be the most analytical thinker in the house right now, as seen by his conversation with himself on the hammock as he told America what's really happening inside the house.

There wasn't a lot of game-talk Friday night with the exception of Caleb telling Pao Pao he's got bigger fish to fry and Joey starting to figure out she could be the re-nom. Joey will eventually get so far into her own head that she makes the decision rather easy, but we'll get to that.

Friday night was full of backyard activities, the most popular being the pool table for most of the guys. We saw Frankie lead some dance routines with Nicole and Victoria while Zach, Cody, Derrick and the rest of the bros bro'd out most of the night.

Most of the game talk later in the evening is by the women who are thinking about who the re-nom will be, while Amber hangs out with the HOH's Caleb and Frankie. At this point a few other women feel Amber is basically one of the guys, probably because she is an absolute babe and she just gets along with the guys.

As most HG's are asleep for the night, Derrick, Caleb, Devin and Frankie are up in the HOH room brainstorming who to use as a replacement nominee, with Joey as a consensus pick.

Live Feeds - Saturday

Saturday was a slower day as far as the house was concerned. HG's went to sleep late into Saturday morning and lounged around much of the day.

We got one of our first confrontations on the feeds and it was about the proper place to pass gas, between Jocasta and Devin. Ok, so it wasn't much but we did get a glimpse into how fragile Devin really is.

Fart-gate

Lots of afternoon sun tanning and hanging by the pool on Saturday.  Frankie and Zach get together late in the afternoon to touch base on happenings around the house. Both agree Caleb is in some trouble with being distracted by Amber but with Caleb as HOH most HG's are steering clear. They also agree Joey is the best possible re-nom available right now for keeping the Bomb Squad safe. These two seem to have the best understanding and control over what's happening in the house. Zach has the side alliance of Cody, Devin and Derrick while Frankie will be in charge of Christine and Victoria.

Everyone seems to have heard that Joey is the rumored re-nom and she begins to start blowing things out of proportion. She tells Brittany about a plan for a speech to the whole house about how nominations are going to be run. (usually not the best idea) Joey has been vocal about Devin being the re-nom for stirring things up too much.

Another alliance forming in the house is between Nicole and Christine who feel like outsiders, although Nicole has been the most popular girl among the male house guests (Hayden, Cody and even Zach). Nicole and Christine seem pretty tight at this point and find themselves hanging out Saturday afternoon in peace discussing Devin's rude demeanor when a blue bomb is about to go off...

Joey starts telling most of the HG's in the kitchen area that if Caleb is making his decision based off of the house's opinion that everyone should have a chance to discuss with Caleb who they want nominated. You know, to make everything fair. It's rather obvious that Joey has no clue how this game works. She then begins asking every individual HG is they have had the chance to talk to Caleb yet, digging her grave deeper and deeper and single-handily saving Pao Pao this week. Frankie summed it up well saying, "It's so obvious when people don't watch the show."

Everyone agrees that Joey's outburst was extremely awkward and has guaranteed herself a spot next to Pao Pao on the block once Donny takes himself off. Most of the girls are thinking long term now and not wanting to thrown Devin under the bus as they start to realize that Joey's ship is sinking. Devin's name is discussed by a few people on Saturday but Caleb has the final say and it doesn't seem like he's budging too much.

Live Feeds - Saturday Night/Sunday Morning

Zach and Cody are getting closer and solidifying their alliance with Derrick inside of the bigger 'Bomb Squad' alliance. As with most confrontational conversations thus far, Devin is involved with yet another one, this time with Brittany. A mild-mannered argument about being able to trust each other but Devin is not gaining any traction with the women of the house.

At this point, Devin, Amber and Caleb seem on the outs of the 'Bomb Squad' while Frankie, Zach, Cody, Derrick and Christine seem to be on the same page. Devin seems incapable of turning off his internal game for even a few minutes as he continues game-talk throughout the night to anyone with a pulse.

As we roll into late Saturday Night, Joey's outburst is still the main point of discussion around the house. Devin is also a point of conversation as he continues to rub the females the wrong way with his abrasive tone in conversation.

It's another late night for most of the HG's. We still had Cody, Christine, Hayden, Nicole, Frankie, Derrick, Devin, Caleb, Paolo and Brittany up late into the night playing pool and hanging out in the backyard. A common feeling among the HG's is that it's easier to go to bed at their most exhausted point, especially the have-nots given their sleeping arrangements.

Live Feeds - Sunday

The HG's wake up Sunday morning are were still discussing the events of the night before, mainly Devin's confrontation with Brittany. Devin is proving to be extremely paranoid and continues to play the game a bit too hard. Frankie, per usual, is the one calming Devin down and continues to be everyone's friend.

Sunday afternoon is when the PoV Ceremony took place, and as expected, Donny pulled himself off the block and Caleb nominated Joey in his place.

These Zach and Frankie (Zankie) meet-ups all over the house have become more and more frequent. They can't get enough of each other and I think they're both playing each other pretty hard too. We saw that it got off to a rough start on Thursday night but they have turned into the tightest duo in the house.

Devin and Brittany hash out their differences from their fight the night before. If either of these two don't win HOH next they are most likely going to be nominated.

Pao Pao, Brittany, Devin and Caleb would be the four HG's I would guess to be out the door following Joey. You could also throw Victoria and Jocasta on that list, I get the feeling that 5 of the 'Bomb Squad' members are beginning to separate from the pack (Zach, Frankie, Cody, Derrick, Christine). Zach, Cody and Derrick have also broken into a smaller group of 3, although Zach and Frankie planned this happening beforehand.

Another ongoing development early on has been Caleb's complete obsession with Amber. She's been polite at putting up with it but it's starting to get a bit weird. Caleb learns that Amber lives just about 2 hours away from him so that doesn't help the situation much. Caleb starts telling the guys that he's going to confess his love for Amber and wants to talk about how she feels. We'll get into that train wreck in a bit, for now we check out the Sunday night episode.

Sunday Night Episode 3

Sunday's episode will cover the nominations from HOH's Frankie and Caleb, which we know are Victoria and Brittany, and Donny and Pao Pao accordingly. We also get our first 'Battle of the Block' competition of the season.

In the beginning we see the formation of the 'Bomb Squad' which we've been hearing about and watching play out on the Live Feeds. Initially is was Caleb, Frankie, Devin and Derrick who came up with the idea, and then added the Zach Attack and Cody. Cody said it best, he wasn't sure if he was joining the next Brigade or the next Moving Company. Zach was fully on board with bombing HG's right out the front door.

We also saw Devin bring in two additional members to the 'Bomb Squad' without consulting anyone in the alliance. He basically grabbed the last two females awake that night and told them everything about their alliance, and handed out two new invitations to Amber and Christine.

We learn that there is a new nomination format where the two HOH's choose two keys each to show who they have nominated.

The 'Battle of the Block' competition involved swinging across from your partner while trying to transfer liquid between each other to make a berry overflow from your vase. Brittany and Victoria pulled out a close victory guaranteeing their safety and dethroning Frankie as HOH.

Now, back to the Live Feeds.

Live Feeds - Late Sunday/Early Monday

Hayden, Frankie and Cody are pumping Caleb up about his chances with Amber. At this point in the night I thought Caleb was wearing a scarf but in fact it turned out to be a dress of Amber's. Later on in the night Caleb expresses his love to Amber.

Meanwhile, Zach and Frankie are talking in the HOH bed again and Zach refers to themselves as 'Zankie' which is what twitter has already tagged them as. They seem to be in a pretty good position as a duo, both of them reaching out to a few individuals to form secondary alliances. Zankie is here to stay.

A little later just before midnight the HG's are secretly preparing for Nicole's 22nd birthday inside, while a few different people keep her distracted in the backyard.

A little bit of this is going on...

Then just after midnight a little bit of this was going on...

A lot of drinking, dancing, twerking, and then some Cody/Nicole action which has become more frequent around the house.

Later on in the night Caleb finally tells Amber how attracted he is to her while they got some 1 on 1 time in the HOH room. It was a very awkward conversation and there was not mutual interest on Amber's end. The night winded down with Amber re-hashing the awkward conversation with some of the girls and Caleb ended up sleeping in the HOH bed with Frankie and Devin, go figure.

Live Feeds - Monday

Given that the nominees are in place and the Live Eviction is not until Thursday, there will be a lot of hanging out for the HG's for the next few days. Joey doesn't seem to be putting up much of a fight and Pao Pao is surprisingly laying low.

One of the first interesting conversations of the day was between Cody and Christine out on the hammock. They are both in the core 5 of the 'Bomb Squad' and seem to be able to be real with each other. Cody brings up how everyone is showing Frankie their cards right now and that he is playing extremely hard. They also discuss how close Hayden and Nicole have become, I'll get into them in a minute. Cody tells Christine that he doesn't exactly give Frankie his full stance when discussing game because he is tight with so many people. Their main goal does still seem to be protecting the core 5 'Bomb Squad' members of Frankie, Zach, Derrick and themselves.

Zankie has another meeting up in the HOH room to discuss their position in the house. Zach says Caleb, Devin and Amber make up the 'Bomb' and he, Frankie, Cody, Derrick and Christine make up the 'Squad'. They plan on using the bombs as a shield moving forward and are disposable if needed. I will say that they both seem extremely comfortable and that's never a good thing in the BB house.

Live Feeds - Late Monday/Early Tuesday

Hayden and Nicole have had an interesting relationship thus far. They gone from a possible showmance to now putting on a bit of a front for the rest of the house. Nicole plans on acting as if their not getting along although they are working together behind the scenes. Hayden says he's not playing this game to screw it up with a showmance but would like to take Nicole out after the show because he does have feelings for her. They hug it out and Nicole is on her way....to Cody.

A few minutes later Cody and Nicole had there own thing going on. Nicole continues to be a hot commodity in the BB house with interest from Hayden and Cody; Zach also mentioned he would like to make a move once he wins HOH.

Later on in the night once most HG's have left the backyard, Zach and Cody are left to themselves at the pool table. They reassure their own alliance saying they will protect each other no matter what. The 'Bomb Squad' has separated into so many alliances it's hard to keep them all straight. Zach and Frankie seem the strongest, followed by Zach with Cody and Derrick. There is still a strong core 5 of Zach, Cody, Frankie, Derrick and Christine. A bit later Zach, Cody and Derrick are playing pool talking about the wild card Devin and hoping someone can take him out soon.

Around 6:30 AM Monday morning Brittany and Cody are still awake hanging out in the backyard and discussing Zach and Frankie's relationship. Cody tells her, in secrecy, that Zach told him he was having some strange feelings for Frankie. Brittany confirmed on night 2 in the house that she saw Zach eyeing Frankie is a strange way. We're gonna have to keep an eye on those two.

Live Feeds - Tuesday

Early Tuesday morning Frankie and Christine are talking in the backyard about how the boys came up to him and said they need to form a smaller alliance and get out Devin and Amber. They're laughing about how perfectly this is all falling into their laps. Frankie tells Christine that everyone else is telling them way too much info that will help dismantle them when needed. They discuss how every single person in the house is now looking to get Devin out soon.

Later on in the HOH room Derrick, Zach and Frankie come out and say they are officially a group of 5, excluding Devin, Amber, and Caleb from the 'Bomb Squad'. Frankie leaves and Derrick says that they're actually a group of 3 with himself, Zach and Cody.

Caleb brought out the HOH camera in the afternoon and the HG's started snapping some pics. We also get some more Nicole and Cody action on chillin' out back in the lounge chairs.

Zankie has another meeting in the storage room solidifying the alliance of 5. They talk about how smart Derrick is and how everyone listens to him. They also discuss the plan to backdoor Devin or possibly wait until a Double Eviction to get the job done.

The new 'Bomb Squad' is collecting notes and updating each other on what Caleb and Devin are up to. Caleb is on  rampage because he found out Amber told Devin that he is more her type than Caleb. Caleb insists that Amber is using him to further her game and is slightly, no fully, delusional.

Later in the afternoon, Joey tries to help her game by transforming to "Alex" which is a male version of herself. Most of the HG's are scared, including Devin who's hiding behind the locked HOH door.

Zach later fills Derrick in on the core 5 and the destruction of the 'Bomb Squad' and they also discuss Devin going home sometime soon. Derrick says what Devin did was wrong, "You never saw the Brigade bring Brittany in."

Even later Zach and Christine are talking about the possibility of backdooring Devin next week if they win HOH. Both agree it would be nice if Brittany could do it for them.

That wraps up the 2nd edition of "Did You Catch That!?" here on TBBI. Wednesday night we'll have a new episode showing the PoV Competition being won by Donny and the PoV Ceremony where Joey goes up as a replacement nominee.

As for now, it still looks certain that Joey will be the 1st House Guest evicted from Big Brother 16 on Thursday night.

Devin's Self Destruction

Lets talk DEVIN....

First I want to make it known that Devin does have a daughter.. the rumors are true he does!  "LOL"

Now lets get on with this story, as you all know Devin is part of the alliance “ The Bomb Squad” but last night Devin’s bomb blew a little to early…….  Yes America he has gone off the deep end . Mr cool, calm and collective could not control the game anymore… his guilty conscious has been weighing on his shoulders.
Devin went in to the “Rock Room” last night to wake Donny up and spill the beans about backstabbing him the entire time. Now remember readers Devin and Donny have an alliance called “The double D’s” but Devin hasn't been faithful to our American sweet heart Donny. So Donny wakes up and Devin tells Donny that

“I told my friends and family that I was going to play this game a-lot differently than any other player. I was going to play with honestly, integrity”

“I wanna let you know that the reason you were put up on the block was because of me, Caleb didn't want to do it but I didn't have the trust in you, I thought you were hiding something, so I said we need to put Donny up, I said he dangerous, I think hes a threat, I think hes somebody that hes not, and I 100% expect you “DONNY” to be disappointed in me, upset at me, and feel betrayed

And then Devin plays the daughter card again………

Donny asks Devin “ am I still a target to you?”

Devin replies “ No!, if you were I wouldn't be telling you this!”

And then Devin plays the daughter card again……….

Then we hear some sweet Donny wisdom...

For the last time Devin plays the daughter card……

Donny goes back to sleep dreaming about mini PopTarts.

Now Devin holds a house meeting…”YIPPI -_-“

For those who don’t know he held a little house meeting letting the house know how he felt about things. Here a word for word of what Devin had to say…
“A lot of you guys know that the most important thing to me is my daughter, and what she thinks of me when I leave here. And, that’s honest to God the truth. But when I got to walk through that door day one, and I got to stand in the same house where a lot of the greats have played, and it hit me that the greats haven’t gotten to the end of this game without being somewhat dishonest and somewhat deceitful at times, y’know without backstabbing some people. I've already talked to Donnie and made sure that I spoke to you guys, because it’s weighing heavy on my heart, but when it came to the first nominations, I forced Caleb’s hand and told him to put Donny, Caleb had nothing to do with it. I didn't trust Donny. I was scared that Donny wasn't who he said he was and the last 4, 5, 6 days I've gotten to know Donny very well and it breaks my heart that I passed judgment on Donny without really knowing him. And, in my heart, no amount of money is worth compromising my integrity as a person because at the end of the day when I walk out that door one day, I want to go home to my little daughter, and when she sits here and plays stuff back, I want to make sure that she looks at her Dad and says ‘you know what’, my Dad taught me that I didn't have to compromise for anything in this world, and here I know I've been deceitful, and I know I ran game, and that’s the name of it, but it breaks my heart to do that because I've told you guys some stories about me going to rehab and that was my true rock bottom, but this is just a game, and at the end of the day, Joey, if it’s you that goes home, or Paola if it’s you that goes home, it’s just a game, and you guys are so much better when you walk out that door for being here and experiencing the things that you've done. And one day I’m gonna go out that door […] and I’m gonna walk out that door with my head held high. But I want you to know from here on out that I was honest and the most integral person that I am inside and out this game […] My daughter is the most important thing in my life, and when she plays this stuff 10, 15, 20 years from now, I want her to know that her Dad didn't compromise his integrity for anything or anyone. I feel so bad for what I did to Donny, because out of anybody here, everybody knows that Donny is the kindest man in this world. He’s the most caring, most generous, most giving person. He may not have a lot to offer physically, but he has so much to give in wisdom and in heart, and that means more to me than this game. And I just want to say that I’m very, very sorry to each and every one of you because that was my decision to do that, and I forced Caleb’s hand, and Caleb went along with what I told him to do. I understand if you guys are disappointed, but I wanted to do was just be honest, and just say that, and if it doesn't get me far in this game, so be it. I’m not looking for anything, but I just wanna know the day I walk out that door, that I hear people clap because they’re proud of me and they know I did the right thing.”

Its only week one and some houseguest conscious are weighing heavy. I would expect this later in the game but it seems that some of these houseguest don't really know how this game is played. In my opinion Devin has tried to play this game to hard to fast and this is lead to many past / future houseguest evictions. This game needs to be played cut throat and you have to follow through with your plans/decisions. Knowing that you coming in to this house you need to be prepared to deal with some ups and downs, but know how to cover all your bases and not let your info out. I do think Devin could of played a better game so far, and if he is evicted next week I guess he has on his mind that he came clean. I think the houseguest learned not to be so open with what their intentions are in the game and hopefully this leads to better game plan choices.

I'm not a Devin fan at all, I hope somebody wins HOH tonight and has a plan installed to evict Devin from the house. They need to make sure that all their bases are covered and there are no flaws in the plan to get him out. I have a few HG in mind to win HOH but I hope they have what it takes to get this game on the right track. It just seems to me that we are dealing with alot of houseguest that aren't experienced with this game, and I hope this season get very interesting fast. I know its only the first week, but I truly hope we have an action packed summer.

Leave a COMMENT letting us know who YOU want to WIN HOH tonight!
